Let me tell you more about who we are and what we're all about.

Who We Are:

We believe in two things: 👘sustainability and 💪🏻size inclusivity. 

Etsuka was founded in Japan and started as a fun challenge only between the founder and her fiance to learn more about start-up businesses. After trying out a few things, we decided to focus on ✨upcycling and reimagining✨ vintage kimonos. It was a shame that such beautiful pieces were being wasted and collecting dust in the store racks so we wanted to give these beauties a second chance, and that's how it all started. 🌸

And then there's size inclusivity. Making everyone feel counted is such an incredible feeling for us and 👏we did just that 👏by embracing every curve and size. Whether you're petite, plus-sized, or somewhere in between, we make sure that our unique pieces are custom-made (and measured) just for you! Kimono pants, wrap skirts, jackets, we’re not stopping anytime soon! 🤭

The Brain Behind the Operation:

Our founder, the mastermind with a Ph.D. in Japan (no big deal) 😎 -- Mimi, dreamt of creating a brand that was more than just, well, a brand. Why? Because she understood the struggle of online shopping – the experience of expecting pants and receiving what seems more like a parachute is meh! So, she decided to solve that problem herself. 🤌

Why We’re Here:

We exist because everyone deserves to feel amazing in their clothes, no matter their size. Our goal is to challenge those norms and create a space where everyone feels stylish and confident.
