Note on Vintage Kimono:
- All products are made from vintage kimonos therefore, even though we choose the best kimono for our upcycling work, there might be some storage stains in some of the pieces. We deemed these, if there is any, is either negligible or adds to the beauty of the kimono.
- In case the fabric is not viable for sewing, we will reach out to you if you want to change to another premium fabric. Of course, if you cannot choose a new one, we'd be more than happy to refund you.
- Note: there is a chance that we need to supplement the fabric with silk cotton. We will reach out to you if ever this is the case. Note that the kimono has a very limited yardage. Depending on the design and measurement you chose, there is a chance that the kimono is not enough.
- We do not guarantee pattern placements. We promise to make use of most of the pattern as much as we can. However, there are situations that are beyond our control. For example, there are cases where parts of the fabric is too fragile or sometimes, we need to avoid storage stains etc. These and more is the reason why Etsuka cannot guarantee pattern placements to your custom fabrics.
- Our guarantee is we will do our best to make use of majority of the kimono and we will make sure that the new upcycled piece justifies the beauty of kimono.
- The Fabric is shipped from Japan and is assembled in the Philippines. Therefore, all others unless communicated otherwise, is shipping from the Philippines.
- We need about 12-15 weeks to finish your piece. Please note that this is an estimate time, there is a chance that we need additional time to finish your piece. Upcycling kimono is a very tedious process that requires months of work. Our promise: your wait is worth it!
