What is a SHO PREMIUM fabric?

• Etsuka's fabric selection is categorized into three levels: SHO-CHIKU-BAI. 
• Sho is the highest level amongst these three. It represents the kimonos that are of highest quality. Sho fabrics are characterized by three things: UNIQUE. RARE. INTRICATE. 
• UNIQUE: The fabrics we list under sho collection are often contain unique patterns such as Shi-shi (lion dog). 
• RARE: Some colors and patterns are rare to see in kimono. Once we find these rare colors such as Navy Blue and rare patterns such as Dragons, Fish and the likes, we list them in our SHO FABRIC collection. 
• INTRICATE: Sho fabrics are kimonos with the most intricate design. Some of the kimonos here has embossed or embroidered patterns in it.

Measurement

• You are getting a custom piece - a made-to-order upcycled kimono piece. This piece becomes uniquely yours.  
• Please indicate your measurement when you order. You need to indicate it in inches.  We need you to measure yourself so we can really make sure it is a good fit. 
• Failure to indicate your size may result to delays in the delivery of your orders. 
• If you are an existing clients, you can type "same as before". We can extract your previous measurements. 

Notes: 

• All products are made from vintage kimonos. We chose kimonos that are beautiful and wearable. However, some kimonos might have small storage stains. We deemed these, if there is any, is either negligible or adds to the beauty of the kimono.
• We do not guarantee pattern placements. We promise to make use of most of the pattern as much as we can. However, there are situations that parts of the fabric is too fragile to sew. Thus, Etsuka cannot guarantee pattern placements to your custom fabrics
• In case the fabric is not viable for sewing, we will reach out to you if you want to change to another premium fabric. Of course, if you cannot choose a new one, we'd be more than happy to refund you. 

Shipping and Returns

• The Fabric is shipped from Japan and is assembled in the Philippines. Therefore, all orders in the Philippines will ship from the Philippines. Orders from South East Asia are also shipped from the Philippines
• The estimated finish of your piece is 12-15 weeks. Please note that since this is a custom fit, we might need longer time. We will coordinate with you in case we need more time. 
• Please note that there might be duties and taxes imposed by your goverment for packages shipped outside of your country. These duties and taxes are outside of our control. Clients agree to shoulder any duties and taxes imposed by their local government

Design: 

• Please choose from the design in the dropdown menu. If there are designs that you wish us to do (for example: Hoi An designs), please email us. 
• We can entertain design changes for SHO fabrics. Please note that there will be top up should you want to change your design. 

Guaranteed Fit: 

• SHO fabrics comes with a guaranteed fit. 
• If in case the items doesn't fit you, please send us an email. You can come in one of our events so we can check the. fit and take the item for repair. If you cannot join our events, please send us an email to discuss how we can move forward.
