What is a CHIKU MID-RANGE fabrics?

• Etsuka's fabric selection is categorized into three levels: SHO-CHIKU-BAI. 
• Chiku is our collection for mid-range fabrics. These fabrics may not be of SHO popularity and rarity but they are beautiful and unique in its own way. 
• You will see fabrics here that is in beautiful colors such as blue, lavender and green. The black fabrics we upload here are definitely a head turner once transformed into a new design. 
• We highly suggest chiku fabrics for our returning clients who is yet to experience custom pieces.

Measurement

• You are getting a custom piece - a made-to-order upcycled kimono piece. This piece becomes uniquely yours.  
• Please indicate your measurement when you order. You need to indicate it in inches.  We need you to measure yourself so we can really make sure it is a good fit. 
• Failure to indicate your size may result to delays in the delivery of your orders. 
  

Notes: 

• All products are made from vintage kimonos. We chose kimonos that are beautiful and wearable. However, some kimonos might have small storage stains. We deemed these, if there is any, is either negligible or adds to the beauty of the kimono.
• We do not guarantee pattern placements. We promise to make use of most of the pattern as much as we can. However, there are situations that parts of the fabric is too fragile to sew. Thus, Etsuka cannot guarantee pattern placements to your custom fabrics
• In case the fabric is not viable for sewing, we will reach out to you if you want to change to another premium fabric. Of course, if you cannot choose a new one, we'd be more than happy to refund you. 

Shipping and Returns

• The Fabric is shipped from Japan and is assembled in the Philippines. Therefore, all orders in the Philippines will ship from the Philippines. Orders from South East Asia are also shipped from the Philippines
• The estimated finish of your piece is 12-15 weeks. Please note that since this is a custom fit, we might need longer time. We will coordinate with you in case we need more time. 
• Please note that there might be duties and taxes imposed by your goverment for packages shipped outside of your country. These duties and taxes are outside of our control. Clients agree to shoulder any duties and taxes imposed by their local government

Design: 

• Please choose designs from the dropdown menu. We cannot entertain design changes for Chiku fabrics. 
• For Chiku fabrics, we can only accept design designs that are listed in the dropdown menu. 
• If you want to choose designs that are not in the dropdown menu, please choose from SHO fabrics.

Custom Guarantee:  

• We guarantee that we will follow the measurements you indicated in the website. 
• In case the item you received didn't follow the measurement, we can take it in for repair. 
• In the case that all the measurements you submitted was followed, please note that we cannot entertain resizing and refund.
