What is a BAI beginner-RANGE fabrics?
- Etsuka's fabric selection is categorized into three levels: SHO-CHIKU-BAI.
- Bai is our collection for beginner-friendly fabrics. These are fabrics that are not of premium quality but is still beautiful as all kimonos are.

These fabrics can let you experience the magical experience of choosing the kimono you want us to upcycle for you.

Measurement
- You are getting pieces that are based on our sizing guide. If you already know our sizing guide (perhaps after visiting us from our pop ups), you can you just key in the size that you wear from Etsuka.
- If you are not familiar with Etsuka sizes, you can refer to this size chart:
- Outside: 100% silk from upcycled kimono
- Lining: Silk Polyester.
- Notes: All products are made from vintage kimonos therefore, even though we choose the best kimono for our upcycling work, there might be some storage stains in some of the pieces. We deemed these, if there is any, is either negligible or adds to the beauty of the kimono.
- We do not guarantee pattern placements. We promise to make use of most of the pattern as much as we can. However, there are situations that are beyond our control. For example, there are cases where parts of the fabric is too fragile or sometimes, we need to avoid storage stains etc. These and more is the reason why Etsuka cannot guarantee pattern placements to your custom fabrics.
- Our guarantee is we will do our best to make use of majority of the kimono and we will make sure that the new upcycled piece justifies the beauty of kimono.
- The Fabric is shipped from Japan and is assembled in the Philippines. Therefore, unless otherwise communicated, shipment is coming from the Philippines.
- Wait time: 12-15 weeks
- Since there is no steady supply of kimono and since Etsuka wants to reduce overproduction, we needed to open most of our orders as a pre-order piece.
- Product return should be done 48hours after receiving the product. Returned products should be in its prime condition
- Please note that there might be duties and taxes imposed by your government for packages shipped outside of your country. These duties and taxes are outside of our control. Clients agree to shoulder any duties and taxes imposed by their local government
- Wait time: 12-15 weeks
- You cannot choose the pattern placement.
- Note that the pattern in the photos is just a sample. Your piece will be of a different pattern.
